The development of a new Petro Canada gas station near Country Hills Boulevard required North Star to take on the task of underground and paving services. North Star started this project in April 2017 and have just finished its final stages of paving in September 2017. Outfall G20C is an exciting one for North Star! Storm water, draining into the Elbow River adjacent to the Tsuu T'ina Nation, has broken concrete pipe in numerous places, creating significant erosion. North Star is working to quickly mitigate the problem and replace the pipe. Although there is a lovely view, this outfall has a steep grade and environmental factors, making this a challenging project. But, if you know us at all, we love a good challenge!Read More
Welding in the North Star yard has begun! Trident Contracting and Mammoet are well into the welds that need to be completed on land before the pipe can be suspended between the Graves bridges.
