Underground Utilities Division

Our Underground Utilities division is proudly celebrating its 10th year of operations, and is an approved City of Calgary contractor with a variety of city projects in its portfolio. Each member of North Star’s management team has over 15 years of solid industry experience, guaranteeing the highest quality of product and service. With past projects such as The Bow EnCana Centre, Royal Vista Business Park, The City of Calgary Watermain Replacement 2007 & 2008 and both the Top Hill Reservoir and Sarcee Reserve Hyprescon Feedermains, North Star has proven itself to be a successful deep utility service company capable of handling any large scale project.

Grading & Paving Division

Within our Grading & Paving Division, each member of North Star’s management team has over 25 years of solid industry experience, guaranteeing the highest quality of product and service. Our accomplished team can complete any grading & paving project regardless of size and scale, from small patches, to sub-divisions to interchanges to large commercial sites.

Comprehensive Service

North Star has the internal resources and proven expertise to offer comprehensive start to finish service on the site development of your project. Once our on-staff Surveyor stakes the site, we begin excavating with our equipment utilizing the latest in GPS technology, which provides accurate grades and site layout. After the underground utilities are installed, our Grading & Paving division then completes the surface restoration. By eliminating dependence on 3rd party sub-contractors for survey, paving and grading services, North Star’s projects are completed faster, more efficiently and more cost effectively.
