RIVERCREST OFFSITE DEEP UTILITIES
PROJECT OVERVIEW
This project was an extension of Rivercrest Phase 2A, which involved connecting previously installed subdivision utilities to the existing infrastructure. It required the installation of large-diameter concrete pipes, which were connected to existing utility services at the bottom of a steep hill. The infrastructure upgrade was critical to supporting a new subdivision, requiring precise execution to seamlessly integrate the storm and sanitary systems.
PROJECT DETAILS
This project included installation of the following underground storm infrastructure, along with site preparation and rehabilitation works to support drainage and long-term site stability:
Installation of 560lm of large-diameter concrete pipe
Installation of 258lm of 200mm diameter PVC pipe
Installation of 62 reinforced concrete anchor blocks
Installation of 14 manholes
Placement of approximately 4,000t of drain rock
Stripping, clearing, and grubbing of approximately 5,500m²
Rehabilitation, including re-loaming, seeding, and hydro-mulching of approximately 5,500m²
